From 8–10 August 2025, we had the privilege of participating in GUT Meeting 2025, themed “From Scope to Solution: Navigating the Future of GI Health”, held at the prestigious Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur. This annual event brought together leading gastroenterologists, surgeons, endoscopy nurses, and industry partners from across the region to exchange knowledge, explore new technologies, and shape the future of gastrointestinal (GI) healthcare.
The conference was preceded by a Pre-Congress Workshop on 7 August 2025, the Asian EUS Workshop, hosted at University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC). Led by Course Director Dr. Stanley Khoo, the workshop provided a deep dive into Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) techniques. Participants benefited from live case demonstrations, allowing real-time observation of procedures, and expert commentary — all with a strong focus on advancing EUS applications in clinical practice.

During the first day of the main conference, Medic Pro proudly hosted our booth display in the Selangor Room, showcasing some of our products — Micro-Tech DAT Clip, GoldKnife, Lockado Clip, Reliant Dilation Balloon & Pump and ANX capsule.
The booth became a hub of activity, with many doctors and nurses stopping by to explore our accessories and learn more about their clinical applications.
To create a more immersive and realistic experience, we displayed our Micro-Tech eyeMAX cholangioscope alongside ERCP scopes, allowing doctors to test the scope angulation as they would in real-life cases. This hands-on interaction captured attention and encouraged deeper product engagement.
We also set up a magnifying glass display for our clips, allowing visitors to examine them in fine detail. Many nurses took the opportunity to try rotating the clips to experience their smooth handling, and also had hands-on practice using our Reliant dilation pump.

In addition, we showcased the ANX capsule, featuring ProScan software — an artificial intelligence (AI)–assisted reading tool that has received the first FDA clearance for aiding review small bowel capsule endoscopy images in adults being assessed for suspected small bowel bleeding.

We also highlighted our Sonoscape HD550 endoscopy system, paired with 550 series scopes, the system offers advanced image enhancement modes such as VIST (Versatile Intelligent Staining Technology) for improved mucosal visualization and early lesion detection.
The accompanying Sonoscape EUS system integrates high-resolution ultrasound imaging with endoscopy, enabling detailed assessment of submucosal and extramural structures, accurate staging of GI lesions, and guidance for
fine-needle aspiration (FNA) or other interventional EUS procedures.
We also featured our in-house Scope FES concept, which stands for Fast, Efficient, Safe, to emphasize the importance of proper endoscope reprocessing and workflow optimization. This was demonstrated using the Soluscope Serie 1 endoscope washer and the Soluscope DSC8000 storage cabinet, highlighting their role in ensuring compliance with infection control standards. The display illustrated the four essential stages of endoscope handling — looping, reprocessing, transport, and storage — providing visitors with a clear visual of how these systems work together to maintain endoscope integrity, improve turnaround time, and ensure patient safety.

Besides that, we also showcased the Diversatek MiVu® Mucosal Integrity Testing System, which utilizes the MiVu Endo Cap together with proprietary software to instantly detect esophageal mucosal changes due to chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) during endoscopy — delivering results in just two minutes.

To create a welcoming atmosphere, we also set up a dedicated barista coffee corner at our booth. Visitors enjoyed freshly brewed coffee while engaging in discussions with our team, making the booth not only a place to explore medical innovations but also a comfortable spot to connect and exchange ideas.

We are excited to announce our upcoming Inspire-U Workshop 2025, held in collaboration with University of Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC). This workshop will feature exclusive live cases on Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), offering participants an invaluable opportunity to observe and learn advanced techniques directly from the experts.
We are honored to welcome an esteemed panel of overseas faculty, including:
Prof. Fan – China
Dr. Peng Xue – China
Prof. James Lau – Hong Kong
Prof. Katsumi – Japan
With their collective expertise, participants can look forward to a rich exchange of knowledge, practical tips, and the latest insights in therapeutic endoscopy.
